We Are Going Green
It is always nice to be recognized for what you do and receive awards and certifications.
Sept. 9, 2011 - Several of our plumbers with Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc. have reached the status as an accredited Green Plumber having completed all course work and testing. All of our plumbers have recently completed the required 32-hour certification course which covers subjects like climate care, water care, solar hot water, efficient technology, and inspections.
A green plumber is a plumber who is certified as participating in sustainable practices related to the plumbing field. A plumber receives this certification by performing his or her job in such a way that it saves water and energy, and by successfully completing the required certification courses.
"We are all going green" says Black Mountain Plumbing's owner and CEO Scott Ferrell. "We want to be one of the first companies in San Diego to have all of their plumbers green certified."
